Not sure what to do next

I am having trouble figuring out where I want to go with this wordpress site.  I currently like the way it is and I keep thinking “Well I can change the header picture.” as if that is some big deal.  It is way to simple a change.  I need to come with something that will require some knowledge and know how to change.  I have been thinking about what to do for several days but I am coming up blank.  I may try out a few themes.  Once you start adding to the themes then it will probably be hard to migrate those changes and migrating to another site must be difficult.  I should see if I can install a second wordpress site to a different portion of my web hosting account and practice migrating data.
